About us - a short history of Somerset Redstone Trust

Somerset Redstone Trust was formed on the 1st October 2000 as a result of the amalgamation of Somerset Care Trust (1992) and Redstone Trust (1996).

The Trust owns and manages five care homes, located in Hereford, Bromsgrove, Exmouth and Crewkerne. The homes are:

	St John’s Court, Bromsgrove, a care home with nursing.
	Housman Court, Bromsgrove, a care home and Independent Elderly Living flats.
	The Orchards, Crewkerne, a care home with nursing.
	Exmouth House, Exmouth, a care home specialising in the care of the mentally infirm and Independent Elderly Living flats.
	Newstead House, Hereford, a care home with nursing.

The Trusts’ Headquarters offices are situated at Gatchell House in the village of Trull, near Taunton in Somerset.
