Housman Court was purpose-built as a Care Home in 1987. It is set in landscaped gardens in the centre of Housman Park (a complex of 57 Independent Elderly Living leasehold flats managed by Ashmore Management).

Housman Court is near to Bromsgrove town centre and shops are within easy walking distance.

The Home is registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection to provide Social Care for a maximum of 30 Service Users of either sex, 14 of which may have some form of mental frailty.

The Home provides 30 single bedrooms on three floors.

Communal rooms are on the ground floor and include two lounges, a conservatory and a dining room; all these rooms overlook well-tended lawns and flowerbeds.

A wide variety of entertainment and activities are organised by the activities organiser.

At Christmas, New Year and other special times relatives are invited to join the festivities.

The Manager of the Home is Caroline Onley, and her Deputy Manager is Janet Orford.
