| Newstead House is an imposing building built
in the 1890’s as a private residence.
It is situated to the north of Hereford city approximately one mile from the
City centre. Major developments and modifications took place in
1988 to convert the house from a family residence to a Nursing Home.
The original three-storey house has been developed into a self-contained unit
providing Social Care for 14 people.
The remaining accommodation is in the 2-storey, purpose-built wing adjacent
to the original house and provides nursing care.
A range of recreational activities are organised, including:
Reminiscence therapy
Gentle exercise classes
Games
The Manager is Catherine Horrigan RN, and the Deputy Manager is
Janet Wilson EN.
Catherine Horrigan is available between 8.30am and 5.00pm to answer
any queries you may have.
