Newstead House is an imposing building built in the 1890’s as a private residence.

It is situated to the north of Hereford city approximately one mile from the City centre. Major developments and modifications took place in 1988 to convert the house from a family residence to a Nursing Home.

The original three-storey house has been developed into a self-contained unit providing Social Care for 14 people.

The remaining accommodation is in the 2-storey, purpose-built wing adjacent to the original house and provides nursing care.

A range of recreational activities are organised, including:

Reminiscence therapy
Gentle exercise classes
Games

The Manager is Catherine Horrigan RN, and the Deputy Manager is Janet Wilson EN.
